Group Ecotherapy

What this is
Group Ecotherapy is a weekly outdoor practice centred on belonging — to yourself, to others, and to the natural world. Each session weaves together slow walking, mindfulness, and simple nature‑based invitations that help you settle into your body, your breath, and the landscape around you.
The pace is gentle and spacious. You choose how you participate, and there is never any pressure to share more than feels right. This is a space to arrive exactly as you are, held by nature and the quiet companionship of a small group.
Who it’s for
This group may be supportive if you’re looking to:
- learn and practise emotional self‑care techniques

- spend more time outdoors and feel the restorative effects of nature
- find steadiness during periods of stress or overwhelm
- receive support through grief or loss
- ease feelings of isolation or loneliness
- connect with others in a calm, non‑judgemental environment
No previous experience with mindfulness or outdoor therapy is needed — just a willingness to show up and explore at your own pace.

Integrative Forest Therapy / Forest Bathing

What this is
Integrative Forest Therapy is an evidence‑informed, nature‑based therapeutic approach that supports mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing through immersive experiences in nature. It brings together mindfulness, sensory awareness, and the restorative qualities of biodiverse environments.
This practice considers the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and the social and natural worlds we belong to, and invites you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and experience the healing potential of the living world.
Sessions are shaped around the needs of the group and draw on the principles of holistic medicine and ecopsychology.
Who it’s for
These sessions are for anyone who feels open to exploring their belonging with nature. You don’t need prior experience, just a willingness to slow down and meet the natural world with curiosity.
Integrative Forest Therapy can be tailored for groups with specific health needs, but it is equally supportive for those seeking relaxation, stress relief, or emotional regulation. They provide a nourishing alternative to the habits we often turn to when life feels overwhelming – a real antidote to a fast‑paced, screen‑bound life.
This work can help you deepen your awareness of yourself, reconnect with your senses, and strengthen your relationship with the living world around you.

How it works
Integrative Forest Therapy is a full, immersive workshop — a deeper alternative to shorter ecotherapy sessions. Rooted in Japanese Forest Bathing and adapted for Western audiences, each session unfolds as a gentle “journey” through the forest.
We move slowly, pause often, and engage in simple nature‑based invitations that help you reconnect with your senses and the living world around you. Optional sharing circles offer moments of reflection, but participation is always at your comfort level.
The emphasis is on slowing down, not covering distance. The pace, accessibility, and level of activity are shaped around the needs of the group.
Practical details
- Session length: Approximately 3 hours
- Distance covered: depending on the venue and the needs of the group, but it rarely exceeds 3 km (around 1.8 miles)
- Fee: £25 per person
- Group size: Minimum 3 participants (maximum 10-12)
- Frequency: Monthly, depending on interest
- Location: Usually Bucklers Park, Crowthorne; occasional alternative woodland sites
- Accessibility: Wheelchair‑friendly routes available — please note this when booking
- Weather: Sessions usually go ahead in light rain or changing weather. If conditions are unsafe or severe weather warnings are in place, the session may be cancelled and a refund given.
